Xavier Hidalgo: I have been a guest at your hotel for decades and your attention has always been impeccable, but I just arrived on Saturday with my wife and we did not have valet parking, additionally, I had to almost explain to a person who came to stay at the hotel so that the bellhop to come over and take my luggage; I had to personally take my car to the parking lot and there was no guard on site, just a guard in front of the hotel.I went to the counter and got in the Green Gold rewards line and the attention was very, very bad, no, they gave me a rate that they have never given me since I am a frequent customer in all the green golds in the country, so they gave me a suit for the cost of a simple one, when I as a guest have even been in the presidential.It's definitely not fair, their most loyal customers treat and serve them like anything...

Mike M: I booked a room on their website specifically and received an email confirmation. When I showed up they had given up my room and could not find my reservation and offered no solution despite clear evidence I had a reservation. Not to mention I had bus issues and arrived at 2am so they left me stranded in the middle of the night. I paid 2-3x to stay at the Wyndham because of this.Edit: In response to the owner. There was no communication in the confirmation email that I had to reach out to them prior to arrival and I had to enter my credit card information on the booking, so why is that MY fault that your system did not charge my credit card? Neither of these two things were specified in the booking process or in the email confirmation. That's just poor business.

Chris Anderson: Tried to charge us 3x the price we had reserved on Expedia for an insurance policy. When we rejected the insurance as our card has insurance for rentals, they said we needed to authorize a $7000 hold on our card. We agreed, but they said our card was rejecting the hold. They also demanded to see the policy but then didn't print a copy, so that seemed bogus.Capital one support confirmed there was no request for an authorization on the card despite multiple "attempts" from europcar's call center card processor.Eventually we couldn't take the rental - it seemed like an attempt to force us to accept the policy, because Expedia's price is less than half of what they'd normally charge for the same car.

When asking the concept, they tell me that it is due to damage to a wheel and they give me a random photo of a wheel. When picking up and delivering the car, an inspection, photos and videos are carried out where no damage to the car or the wheels can be seen. From my point of view, it is that they want to charge more without having proof or possible justification. I am waiting for you to provide the necessary evidence or I will have to take legal action.I update: They have not returned my money nor have they provided evidence of the damage. They have kept the money. As of June 20, 2023, I received an email confirming that I have rented the car again, obviously I have not been in Ecuador since then. CAREFUL!! THEY'RE THIEVES!!

We booked a car for 11 days a couple weeks before our trip.At the counter, they first tried to charge us an 300$ extra for third party liability insurance, meaning that it is mandatory to purchase it in Ecuador. When asked for a legal proof, they could not answer. The lady at the counter was extremely unpleasant and we had to call her superior to discuss the matter. The person on the phone gave us a first discount (200$ for the aforementioned insurance), then a second (150$).We compared with other rental agencies who confirmed that this extra charge was a rip-off.When we asked for refund, they indicated that they would hold an amount from what we already payed (total amount 952$€).After another argument with the employee, we were allowed to get the car for the price we originally payed for.When we got back today to return the car, we were hoping to have a different impression.Too sad, the same lady again tried to charge us for extra toll fees that did not exist. Once again we had to argue and to prove that we payed and kept toll tickets scrupulously. 10 minutes later it was sorted out and the personal kept quiet because they were wrong.I never had such a bad experience with a rental agency. It is the worst customer service I ever lived.I hope this will help other travelers and tourist who chose to visit this beautiful country to avoid being welcomed in such a bad manner.Have a good trip !!

Jane Dough: The process of renting the car was easy. What I don't like is the insurance trap they make you pull. And also to return the car in person they tell me that the car is fine, but after a while they send me an email that they had to wash the car and that it has a bad smell. Because before delivering the car they tell you that you have to wash it, as if that's my job. I don't like the bad business of this arrival at all. Realize that it is better to rent a car outside the airport because these people do not do proper business.
Matthew Bradbury: I recently made a reservation online for a car at this location. I arrived at the airport to find the Enterprise desk closed with a sign indicating to proceed outside -- where there was no one, with no number to call.After searching for their number online and calling them, I was told they had my reservation, but that there we no cars available and no one was available to assist me. They offered to take my number and call me back when a car would be available, but could not give me an estimated time, only that a car would be available within one or two DAYS.Ultimately, Enterprise left me stranded at the airport with no assistance or even so much as a suggestion what to do. From the tone of the person i was speaking with, she clearly wasn't interested in helping me with the situation they put me in. Fortunately, I was able to find a car through another company, however at a substantially higher rate than I had reserved through Enterprise.I have never had such a negative experience with Enterprise -- most locations offer very good service. I feel like this franchise branch is just terribly managed. Stay away!
EC Photography (Enmanuel Cardozo): Despite having a reservation for several weeks for an automatic car, and having confirmed with the sales agent Diomedes a couple of days before, when we arrived at the site they had no cars available and his partner Anthony was unable to help us despite having a car automatic available for a booking after ours. Pathetic treatment, I do not recommend them at all.

Cory E: Warning! Horrible place! They will make you buy their $35 a day insurance saying it is mandatory even if you already bought or have covered insurance. Total scam, but what do you do when you arrive late and have no other reservations. They tell you some line about how they are an independant franchise and have their own rules. Ends up being the most expensive car I have ever rented anywhere in the world.
