Jaroslav Nečas: I strongly suggest to use any other rental company. Although I had prepaid car rental, during my arrival to airport, I was told that there is no car available, not even in different category. Only good advise I got, was to ask for a refund.

Jose Portillo: In our recent trip to Guayaquil we rented a van from Xplore Car Rental and their customer service was by far the best customer service we got throughout Ecuador (I’m not exaggerating) They were attentive, honest, and super nice. Fabricio even offer to take us to the airport at no extra charge. The van was in really good condition, clean, reliable and fuel efficient. I would definitely rent from them again.

Xplore is also a five minute drive from the airport.The best part of my rental experience was working with Ivan. He is professional, courteous, and honest. Some highlights include:1. When we returned our rental, a rear light had a crack. Instead of immediately blaming and charging us, Ivan took the time to go through the initial inspection video he filmed when we first rented the car. He noticed that the crack was there before we rented the car, we had just missed it during the inspection. Ivan let us know and did not charge us.2. Ivan picked us up and dropped us off at the airport at no extra cost.3. Was always available to take our questions and concerns. Seriously, any time we called or texted with questions, Ivan promptly responded.Xplore is leaps and bounds ahead of the big car rental agencies. We had a 21 day rental and will definitely book with Xplore again.

He tracked down a automatic SUV for me, allowed me to extend my time, came in on Sunday evening, his day off, to do the return then took my wife and I with all our bags to the bus station. The company gave us one with a bigger engine when we told we wanted to drive in the mountains as well. We did not have to pay any extra. They brought the car to the airport and everything could be arranged there. The guy that brought the car spoke several languages which made it easier when he explained the car to us. The car was almost new and was comfortable, tidy, clean and neat. We had the best vacation with it.
