Mike M: I booked a room on their website specifically and received an email confirmation. When I showed up they had given up my room and could not find my reservation and offered no solution despite clear evidence I had a reservation. Not to mention I had bus issues and arrived at 2am so they left me stranded in the middle of the night. I paid 2-3x to stay at the Wyndham because of this.Edit: In response to the owner. There was no communication in the confirmation email that I had to reach out to them prior to arrival and I had to enter my credit card information on the booking, so why is that MY fault that your system did not charge my credit card? Neither of these two things were specified in the booking process or in the email confirmation. That's just poor business.

Came for the happy hour and was told they were “out of alcohol” after receiving a text about it 30 minutes before me going.Overall - nothing but bad experiences here. And it’s NOTHING like the photos.

They acted like they did not care and only offered us a private room for MORE what we originally paid, with no discount.Very disappointing. I will not ever stay here again.

We told the hotel staff and also explained that we are sure that the things were there before, still they were suspicious of us and as a first reaction defended the cleaning lady. Only after 2 days complaining really angry, the hotel manager helped us more. The security in this hostel was not guaranteed! We were offered another night to stay, but we already had next bookings, then they didn't even offer a coffe or food ....Safety: Bad security!
Hoseina Marcos: the security at Manso Boutique is not guaranteed at all. we had cash stolen from the room plus a GoPro and the hotel staff did not want to believe that the things got away and they did not help us at all in the beginning and did not take us seriously. They did not accommodate us at all and the staff was completely overwhelmed with the situation. Only after we wanted to speak to the manager were we and our problem taken seriously. All in all, a very unprofessional staff and a disastrous experience at Manso Boutique Hotel. We would not recommend it to anyone!

They helped to arrange a reliable pick up from the airport which was around midnight. The restaurant staff were nice, and the food was very good. The room, lobby and restaurant were all kept very clean. The included breakfast was excellent along with the service (different than the evening staff). There was a variety of items – coffee, yummy hot chocolate, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, along with hot items and you could order a verity of egg dishes made to order. The location was quiet and made it easy to access the Malecon.

Rien van Gils: Hotel gaat voor 4 sterren maar verdiend deze niet. Kamers zijn groot maar alles gedateerd. Personeel bijzonder aardige. Restaurant mag deze naam niet hebben is gewoon een kantine. Passieve medewerkers (alleen keuken en Restaurantmanagers werken) Rest kruipt weg achter beeldscherm. Kijken je ook niet aan want je zou maar eens wat vragen. Verder harde muziek en 3 beeldschermen met sport. Al. Het personeel komt daar eten lijkt het.
J V: A big difference from what you find online about the rooms compared to in person. Not happy about the deluxe queen room that was booked here. I'd rather spend my money on another hotel before staying here again. Made sure to talk to the receptionist but wasn't offered anything better and felt like it was a bother. Disappointed we selected to stay here for the first time visiting the city of Guayaquil.
