As I moved to look at the mens shoes, one lady was blocking the cash register. Seriously! Did she really think I was going to run out with the coins in the cash register? I had a bag from Aldo with a box containing the globe to an expensive lamp that I took to Kiwi to see how I could repair it (I broke it that morning after I bought it😢). Maybe she thought i was going to put the cash register or a shoe in my Aldo shopping bag. Sure, they may have a problem with people stealing but you cannot act like everyone is a thief. I have lived in Cuenca for over a year after many visits to the country.
