It is deeply disappointing when a hotel fails to prioritize customer service, particularly in situations where circumstances beyond the guest's control necessitate changes to their reservation.It is essential for hotels to recognize that flight delays and cancellations are common occurrences in the travel industry. It is unreasonable and unprofessional for the Holiday Inn Aeropuerto to ignore this reality and adhere strictly to inflexible policies that do not account for such situations. I also opted for airport transportation and they picked me up at the airport.When I arrived to check in they said my reservation was cancelled. It took them 30min to figure out what happened - I still don't know why they cancelled my reservation - and simply said "I am sorry, your reservation was cancelled and we don't have another room available to accommodate you".And it was really bad because the city was completely full and very hard to find any room available. If it wasn't for friends who opened their doors to stay with them I literally wouldn't have a place to sleep.Very bad management and terrible customers service. I wouldn't trust them in the future.What it is more bizarre is that the hotel actually picked me up at the airport and when I got there I had no reservation! How do they pick up someone at the airport without a reservation???
