Nangee Travels: First, the welcoming staff, Egor?, was wonderful. He spoked English very well and made us feel welcome. He ensured we had everything we needed and gave all the necessary information.Second, we were blown away by the room, just the sheer size of it, the walk in closet, the 12+ feet ceiling, the full window with the river view, were all fantastic.The next morning, we had a great breakfast of egg, fruits, bread, juices, coffee and they also made great looking and delicious pancakes for my son. It was perfect. Egor also recommended Mercado Artesanal shopping within walking distance which we love and shopped until we dropped and ate at Mami T that was 2 min walk away. Egor's sister, Izzy?, was on duty next day and she was equally amazing with her welcoming smile and great English.The hotel is on a cobble stoned street that was guarded by security and police every few hundred yards. You can walk safely down one direction to La Perla (giant ferris wheel) and Malecon or walk the other direction where Wyndham and Mami T are. The swimming pool on the fifth floor with river view and hammocks was great too. The modern place has multi floors but gave you homely feel because of the staff and it is tastefully decorated.Disliked · No stairs to get in and out of the pool. That's a bit challenging if you are not fit.

Sherida Hibbard: The location can't be beat... roughly equidistant between the bars of Las Penas and the bars of Santa Anna neighborhood. It is very easy to walk down to either location and grab an Uber anywhere in the city.The staff is lovely. Izzy and Iker made sure we had everything we needed. They were friendly and helpful.The rooms show some age and aren't 5 star, but they have amazing space and the river view balcony is wonderful. This place would be wonderful to stay for weeks or months even... the storage is better than my home closets.Breakfast everyday was delicious and plentiful.If ever I return to Guayaquil, this will be at the top of my list to return.

Nicolas wykeman: Great hotel in the middle of the old town but very modern with a swimming pool on top. It would have had five star with a little more upkeep. The shower was cold but staff are very friendly. Can be difficult if you stay on the reception floor as you have to call the reception in the lift to get to that floor and the staff are not always listening
Sheba Rasson: I wanted to like this hotel as it overlooks the river but if you are unlucky enough to get the room on the first floor, beware you will not sleep from all the noise - partying into the night on the street, boats passing, etc. In addition, there are floor to ceiling windows with no curtains and the light posts in the river stay on all night. The management was nice and the breakfast was lovely but the hotel was not a comfortable stay.

Lauren Wunsch: My boyfriend and I stayed here one night after a late flight in to guayaquil, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home! At the time guayaquil was experiencing a lockdown at 9pm so we weren’t able to go out to get dinner. Our host made us tomato egg and avocado sandwiches with fresh juice along with fresh fruit! The hospitality we experienced was unparalleled and we will definitely return the next time we are in guayaquil. The space is beautiful with a river view balcony that has a nice breeze. There is a beautiful garden in the center of the common area, our room was right next to it so we had some natural light but it wasn’t too bright so we could sleep in a bit after our travels. The room was large with a walk in closet beautiful bathroom and comfy bed. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! Fresh fruit, coffee, generous portions of juice, toasted bread and eggs or pancakes and bacon! Overall such a nice, safe and welcoming environment if you are looking for a short or longer term stay. Thank you so much! We hope to see you again soon!

Marc Eich: Had a lovely stay at Nucapacha‘s. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice and changes daily, they use regional products.Wifi in the Lobby is very fast. The rooms are ok for the price. There‘s no hot water in the shower bit since the outside temperature didn‘t go below 25C we disn‘t need it anyway. No AC but a big fan in the room. The pool is also nice to cool down.Getting to the city is quite easy, by bus 10-15min paying 0.30$ per person.

Allison the Lizard: Hostel refused to book me a taxi for 3 hours before my flight to the Galapagos. They only let me book the taxi for 2 hours before, making me late and almost missing boarding the flight.
Nicola Lopez-Rabkin: A nice hostel with friendly staff. I ended up having to stay an extra night than my reservation and they were happy to add another night tho I understandably had to change rooms. Nothing fancy and could do with a bit of renovations. There’s a kitchen where you can make your own food and a nice outside area with a pool. They have a dog that lives there that sometimes barks at night which was a bit disturbing (my original room faced the street). An economical place to stay in Guayaquil for young travelers. I’ll probably stay here again next time I come.

I gave them a $10 for change and then the girl at the front desk refused to give me change or my money back.2. They cancelled my reservation without any notice and made me pay for a private room instead.3. Came for the happy hour and was told they were “out of alcohol” after receiving a text about it 30 minutes before me going.Overall - nothing but bad experiences here. And it’s NOTHING like the photos.
Eponine G: I made a reservation in January for my stay in June.. we just arrived and they said they had to cancel it. I never got any email saying it was cancelled. They acted like they did not care and only offered us a private room for MORE what we originally paid, with no discount.Very disappointing. I will not ever stay here again.
Celina Peter: We wouldn't come back! A GoPro and cash were stolen from our room. We told the hotel staff and also explained that we are sure that the things were there before, still they were suspicious of us and as a first reaction defended the cleaning lady. Only after 2 days complaining really angry, the hotel manager helped us more. The security in this hostel was not guaranteed! We were offered another night to stay, but we already had next bookings, then they didn't even offer a coffe or food ....Safety: Bad security!
Hoseina Marcos: the security at Manso Boutique is not guaranteed at all. we had cash stolen from the room plus a GoPro and the hotel staff did not want to believe that the things got away and they did not help us at all in the beginning and did not take us seriously. They did not accommodate us at all and the staff was completely overwhelmed with the situation. Only after we wanted to speak to the manager were we and our problem taken seriously. All in all, a very unprofessional staff and a disastrous experience at Manso Boutique Hotel. We would not recommend it to anyone!

Ori Chen: We spent two nights. The hosts went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay pleasant. They helped us plan our visit to the city and with all of our needs, and the owner used to be a diving guide in the Galápagos islands and can share amazing stories.Breakfast was delicious and hearty, with fresh fruits, juice, eggs and great home made jams.Rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds and a good hot shower. The garden and corridors are filled with lovely plants.Short walking distance from Mall de Sol, and a taxi to the touristic center 10-20 minutes away (3 dollars). 10 minutes from the Airport.

Fürsorglich haben sich die Vermieter um uns gekümmert, so dass wir alle wichtigen Informationen hatten und sicher wieder ins Hotel zurückfanden.Wir waren leider nur 2 Tage hier, viel zu wenig, nicht nur weil es in Guayaquil unheimlich viel zu erleben gibt. Nein, auch weil uns diese herzliche Familie so liebevoll betreut hat, wie wir es bisher nur ganz selten erleben durften. Wir haben einfach gespürt, dass hier alles vom Herzen kommt. Das hat uns tief berührt, denn es ist überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich.Wir können gar nicht genug danke sagen! francesca donato: Ottima posizione perché vicino all'aeroporto (5 euro con taxi) e a cinque minuti a piedi dal centro commerciale Mall del Sol. Ottima colazione, pulitissimo e personale gentilissimo che fornisce tutte le indicazioni per poter visitare Guayaquil. Ci hanno anche tenuto a deposito una valigia per dieci giorni.
WoMo Kabine: Sehr gastfreundlich und familiär geführtes Hostal. Fanny die Inhaberin und ihr Partner führen dieses Hotel mit herzblut. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und bequem eingerichtet, verfügen über ein Bad mit heisser Dusche, schnelles Wifi und Klimaanlage. Der Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Früchten und Gemüse Pflanzen ist hinter dem Haus angelegt. Ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück immer mit frischen Früchten, aus dem eigenen Garten ist im Zimmerpreis dabei.Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil hier in Guayaquil. Fanny organisierte sofort bei Wim, der einen grossen Parkplatz hat, einen sicheren Platz für unser Wohnmobil. Es ist daher eine perfekte Kombination für Overlander - Reisende mit Wohnmobil. Gute Lage und nur ca. 10 min. vom Flughafen entfernt. Zwei Schweizer 🇨🇭🇨🇭 Touristen mit WoMo

The owner asked him to call her when he got in the taxi at the airport and she was waiting for him at the door to the hotel. Thank you.
