Xavier Hidalgo: I have been a guest at your hotel for decades and your attention has always been impeccable, but I just arrived on Saturday with my wife and we did not have valet parking, additionally, I had to almost explain to a person who came to stay at the hotel so that the bellhop to come over and take my luggage; I had to personally take my car to the parking lot and there was no guard on site, just a guard in front of the hotel.I went to the counter and got in the Green Gold rewards line and the attention was very, very bad, no, they gave me a rate that they have never given me since I am a frequent customer in all the green golds in the country, so they gave me a suit for the cost of a simple one, when I as a guest have even been in the presidential.It's definitely not fair, their most loyal customers treat and serve them like anything...

Ori Chen: We spent two nights. The hosts went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay pleasant. They helped us plan our visit to the city and with all of our needs, and the owner used to be a diving guide in the Galápagos islands and can share amazing stories.Breakfast was delicious and hearty, with fresh fruits, juice, eggs and great home made jams.Rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds and a good hot shower. The garden and corridors are filled with lovely plants.Short walking distance from Mall de Sol, and a taxi to the touristic center 10-20 minutes away (3 dollars). 10 minutes from the Airport.

Herzlichen Dank, lieber Rodrigo.Um uns in der riesigen Stadt zurechtzufinden, hat Carol uns alles einfühlsam und geduldig erklärt, sodass wir es auch in englisch verstehen konnten. Lieben Dank dafür.Es ist dort nicht so ungefährlich, alleine unterwegs zu sein. Fürsorglich haben sich die Vermieter um uns gekümmert, so dass wir alle wichtigen Informationen hatten und sicher wieder ins Hotel zurückfanden.Wir waren leider nur 2 Tage hier, viel zu wenig, nicht nur weil es in Guayaquil unheimlich viel zu erleben gibt. Nein, auch weil uns diese herzliche Familie so liebevoll betreut hat, wie wir es bisher nur ganz selten erleben durften. Wir haben einfach gespürt, dass hier alles vom Herzen kommt. Das hat uns tief berührt, denn es ist überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich.Wir können gar nicht genug danke sagen! francesca donato: Ottima posizione perché vicino all'aeroporto (5 euro con taxi) e a cinque minuti a piedi dal centro commerciale Mall del Sol. Ottima colazione, pulitissimo e personale gentilissimo che fornisce tutte le indicazioni per poter visitare Guayaquil. Ci hanno anche tenuto a deposito una valigia per dieci giorni.
WoMo Kabine: Sehr gastfreundlich und familiär geführtes Hostal. Fanny die Inhaberin und ihr Partner führen dieses Hotel mit herzblut. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und bequem eingerichtet, verfügen über ein Bad mit heisser Dusche, schnelles Wifi und Klimaanlage. Der Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Früchten und Gemüse Pflanzen ist hinter dem Haus angelegt. Ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück immer mit frischen Früchten, aus dem eigenen Garten ist im Zimmerpreis dabei.Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil hier in Guayaquil. Fanny organisierte sofort bei Wim, der einen grossen Parkplatz hat, einen sicheren Platz für unser Wohnmobil. Es ist daher eine perfekte Kombination für Overlander - Reisende mit Wohnmobil. Gute Lage und nur ca. 10 min. vom Flughafen entfernt. Zwei Schweizer 🇨🇭🇨🇭 Touristen mit WoMo

Came for the happy hour and was told they were “out of alcohol” after receiving a text about it 30 minutes before me going.Overall - nothing but bad experiences here. And it’s NOTHING like the photos.
Eponine G: I made a reservation in January for my stay in June.. we just arrived and they said they had to cancel it. I never got any email saying it was cancelled. They acted like they did not care and only offered us a private room for MORE what we originally paid, with no discount.Very disappointing. I will not ever stay here again.
Celina Peter: We wouldn't come back! A GoPro and cash were stolen from our room. We told the hotel staff and also explained that we are sure that the things were there before, still they were suspicious of us and as a first reaction defended the cleaning lady. Only after 2 days complaining really angry, the hotel manager helped us more. The security in this hostel was not guaranteed! We were offered another night to stay, but we already had next bookings, then they didn't even offer a coffe or food ....Safety: Bad security!
Hoseina Marcos: the security at Manso Boutique is not guaranteed at all. we had cash stolen from the room plus a GoPro and the hotel staff did not want to believe that the things got away and they did not help us at all in the beginning and did not take us seriously. They did not accommodate us at all and the staff was completely overwhelmed with the situation. Only after we wanted to speak to the manager were we and our problem taken seriously. All in all, a very unprofessional staff and a disastrous experience at Manso Boutique Hotel. We would not recommend it to anyone!

Diana CarDu: Me pareció excelente, si esperan lujo, este no es el lugar. Si son mochileros y quieren una noche tranquila, con un buen baño (agua caliente) y una recamara limpia, con aire acondicionado con desayuno incluído, excelente ubicación, personal súper amable, este es el lugar. Mi recámara tenía una mesita con una silla, perfectas para trabajar en la computadora. El hotel es silencioso así que para mí también fue muy cómodo trabajar incluso después de haber hecho el check in. Además ofrecen almuerzos ejecutivos. Madison Willcox: Cozy, seamless, and safe stay in an excellent location. Absolutely loved the warmly lit room and well designed balcony & common spaces. AC worked perfectly and provided relief from hot Guayaquil. The self check in is super smooth and the staff is incredibly response on WhatsApp. You’ve got everything you need here. Right across the Malecón & easy block from Las Peñas. There is also a security guard at the building for peace of mind. I have no idea where the negative reviews are coming from, we had a perfect stay with no problems at all, and at a very affordable price. Stay at Pepe’s House, locally owned and run, down to earth hostel that knows what’s it doing 😺
Elodie Moreau: We booked Pepe's House for our trip to Guayaquil and were unfortunately unable to attend our booking as we were trapped in Peru due to political unrest. We understand they have a no cancellation policy but we hoped that given our circumstances were completely out of our control and we were able to give them one week's notice in the busy Christmas week period that they may be kind and understanding and give us a refund. Unfortunately they refused to give us a refund or even waive the cancellation fee and made our difficult situation even worse. The staff at this hotel were quick to reply to messages but were not kind people. Luckily we dealt with more sympathetic people for our other bookings in Ecuador.

Cesar Barros: Estive neste estabelecimento em novembro de 2022 e foi uma péssima experiência. Não é hotel e nem hostel. É um apartamento improvisado, o ar condicionado do quarto era antigo, o filtro não estava limpo, o chuveiro ficava fora do banheiro, dentro do quarto (!), sem divisória ou porta. Nunca vi isso antes! Não acredite nas fotos que encontra em sites especializados como boooking e hostelworld. A internet não funcionava. Guayquil enfrenta problemas de segurança e havia pessoas usando drogas nas dependências, nos sentimos inseguro. Optamos por mudar de hospedagem no mesmo dia.

KAI CUI: Pepe’s house is closer to a hostel or airbnb than a hotel. Contactless check in, big common area and plant decorated balcony for lunging, eating and working. if you get the room 1 or 2 which are away from the busy street, it’s actually pretty quite and easy to fall to asleep. The room is big and clean. The bathroom has a window so that the moist from shower doesn’t condensate the entire bathroom, which seems to be a lacking feature in all the Guayaquil hotels.I really enjoyed my three nights stay. will recommend it to people who don’t like to interact with front desk people and prefer a hostel style stay.

Daniele De Cillis: I didn’t had the chance to stay @pepe’s cause my booking was cancelled just after 30 minutes I did it on Hostelworld. The staff wrote me to cancel my reservation on Hostelworld since they had a problem with the HW platform and it gave free bed in dorm even if was not so. The point is that cancelling my reservation from my side cost me the amount of 1 night plus the deposit I already paid! We had a back and forth of email without a reasonable solution. They suggest me that for the first night I could sleep in a single room for almost the double of the price of the dorm….. not a great deal since it was their mistake (Pepe’s or HW) and not mine! I tried to contact the customer service of Hostelworld with no reply at all (at least Pepe’s staff reply to my mails). Finally I had to cancel my reservation loosing my deposit plus the entire amount of the first night, even if Pepe’s now told me was not the chase!So I don’t know how Pepe’s hostel is but for sure they has to treat better their clients, maybe offering just for the first night the single room at the same price of the dorm. It was not the case…..And after 3 weeks here below what Hostelworld reply to me......That's CRAZY!!!Hi Daniele,Thanks for contacting Hostelworld! Please accept my sincerest apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Marc Eich: Had a lovely stay at Nucapacha‘s. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice and changes daily, they use regional products.Wifi in the Lobby is very fast. The rooms are ok for the price. There‘s no hot water in the shower bit since the outside temperature didn‘t go below 25C we disn‘t need it anyway. No AC but a big fan in the room. The pool is also nice to cool down.Getting to the city is quite easy, by bus 10-15min paying 0.30$ per person.

Allison the Lizard: Hostel refused to book me a taxi for 3 hours before my flight to the Galapagos. They only let me book the taxi for 2 hours before, making me late and almost missing boarding the flight.
Nicola Lopez-Rabkin: A nice hostel with friendly staff. I ended up having to stay an extra night than my reservation and they were happy to add another night tho I understandably had to change rooms. Nothing fancy and could do with a bit of renovations. There’s a kitchen where you can make your own food and a nice outside area with a pool. They have a dog that lives there that sometimes barks at night which was a bit disturbing (my original room faced the street). An economical place to stay in Guayaquil for young travelers. I’ll probably stay here again next time I come.
