The church and even the area around it were closed - on a weekend during tourist hour of 10:30am - for no apparent reason: the police officer said ‘Closed on discretion of the local government’. Still worth a walk up this beautiful colonial neighborhood. Also apparently only the staircase with numbered stairs is open to visitors: we were wooshed away from other streets / staircases.

Al entrar se respira desde ya una atmósfera bohemia, más intensa dentro del mismo edificio cuya arquitectura nos habla de un estilo que primaba el siglo anterior.
